Aeolus helps Neart na Gaiothe Offshore wind farm reach financial close

Aeolus is proud to have supported the 450MW NnG project, developed by EDF Renewables, reaching this milestone. The project consists of 54 Siemens Gamesa 8MW turbines and will be one of the deepest non-floating wind farms to be constructed to date using jacket foundations.
Aeolus is providing risk and interface management services for the NnG project covering mapping and coordinating technical interfaces between the six construction contracts and managing the delivery of the technical due diligence process that led to successful financing by 25 financial institutions.
Once operational in 2023, NnG will provide enough electricity to power more than 375,000 Scottish homes, and will offset over 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
